I often feel I was born in the wrong era as I am fascinated by what is now considered the
Golden Age of Hollywood. My portrait paintings are an homage to the wonderful artists of the
Art Deco Era of the 1920's and 1930's. Glamour is my favorite word and that comes through in
my artwork. I also love Mid Century Modern with it's atomic age geometric shapes and
starbursts. After painting in one style I usually move to another that's why you see such a
variety in my work. My favorite medium is acrylic although I also draw using color pencils, ink
and markers and recently I have been doing a lot digital artwork on the computer.

Currently I've been working on a series of portraits inspired for the most part by my favorite
artist, Tamara de Lempicka. Dominique and Colette are complete and I am now working on the
third of the series. When complete it will be on display on this website.
